Trivia Monster is owned and operated by Indomitable Labs LLC ("we", "our", or "the app"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.1. Information We Collect
Information stored on your device
Trivia Monster saves the following data locally on your device only:
Your game history (topic played, score, accuracy, and date).
Your mastery progress per topic and category.
Your sound preference (muted or unmuted).
Daily 5 session data, including your answer accuracy per question, response timing, and engagement duration. This is used only to personalize the difficulty of future sessions.
A local question bank, including previously generated questions and your answer history. This data is used to ensure variety and calibrate difficulty to your skill level.
None of this data ever leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
Information sent to third-party services
When you start a game, the app sends a network request containing:
The topic name you selected (e.g., "Greek Mythology").
The difficulty level you chose (Easy, Medium, or Hard).
A list of previously generated question texts for that topic to avoid repeats.
This information is sent to the Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com) or The Trivia API (the-trivia-api.com) to generate questions. These requests do not include any personal information, IP addresses, or persistent device identifiers that could be used to identify you.2. How We Use Information
Locally stored data is used solely to display your results, calculate mastery progress, and adapt difficulty levels. Third-party API requests are used exclusively to operate the app's core trivia generation functionality.3. Information Sharing
